Nurse in a Bag LLC began in January 2018 when Ann Beardsley, a marathon runner, participated in the Dopey Challenge in Orlando, Florida. This four-day, 48.6-mile running challenge through every one of Disney’s Parks only has 474 “Perfect Dopeys” worldwide.
She and her sister Kate Beardsley are now two of those Perfect Dopeys. Still, Ann (who admits to 65 if you bribe her with a bottle of wine – though she’s older than that) noticed she was considerably sore after all those miles.
So she turned to another sister, Meg Gustafson, a registered and occupational safety nurse. Meg, who works with people suffering from bumps, bruises, strains, sprains, and many other injuries, recommended the contents of her RISE bag and one thing led to another… individual industrial first aid kits for businesses with RN approved first aid supplies and instructions.
In March of that year, Nurse in a Bag was officially born. Meg is the RN/consultant, while Ann is everything else to create a small but mighty first aid kit manufacturer, wholesale first aid supplies distributing in the USA.
